In Zhlobin there is a place that is especially honored by every resident of the town and the district – Liberation Square. In the center of the square there is a monument to the soldiers of the 63rd Rifle Corps under the command of General Leonid Petrovsky. On one side of the monument there is a pink bas-relief depicting 6 soldiers of the Red Army. On the other side there is an inscription: “In the difficult year of 1941, July 15, the soldiers of the 21st Army stormed the occupied Zhlobin,” “Glory to your heroic deeds, Liberators Soldiers,” “July 15, 1941”
